Recipe for Chocolate Fridge Cake
Ingredients
200g butter - diced
200g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons golden syrup
200g digestive biscuits - bashed up
100g raisins - optional
Any other things you would like to add
Method
Melt the butter, chocolate and the syrup in a saucepan over a gentle heat, stirring until melted. (or in a microwave on a medium setting)
Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients
Spoon in to the lined dish, pushing down the top
Set in the fridge for 20 minutes or so until firm
Turn out and cut in to small squares or rectangle bars
Use - 20 – 24 cm square / round or rectangle dish or tin – lined with cling film or greaseproof paper
